Since people are still giving Obama grief about Ayers

Guilt by association. That is a sorry political tactic when both sides are making claims about the same thing. I am actually starting to get more and more worried about the next thirty days. I keep asking myself when it will all be over.

So, videotaping a greeting for a state political party is the same as accepting funding and guidance, as well as working hand in hand with a guy who actually committed terrorist acts on US targets including police stations and the Pentagon?

More importantly, we're not talking about guilt by association. If Palin had said that Obama was a terrorist, or that Obama was guilty of committing terrorist acts because of his association with William Ayers, then that would be guilt by association.

What she is talking about, and what I've been talking about is that Obama's choice of mentors during his political rise to power says a lot about his personal beliefs, his priorities, and his values.

That statement in undeniably true; the people you chose to associate with reflect your values.

As such, those associations on both sides are open for examination.
