Some Professors Say the Dumbest Things

I was sitting in English class halfway paying attention when my English professor said this gem. She was talking about critical thinking skills and conformity. She actually had the nerve to say, "there are times when we should just conform without question." She then went on to ask the class for examples of when people should do what they are told without questioning. I could tell that she wasn't the happiest when I called her out on the ridiculousness of her statement.
